Kumamoto Earthquake Response - Provided humanitarian aid

On April 14th, 2016 at 9:26 pm (Local Time), a strong earthquake of magnitude 6.5 occurred in Kumamoto, Japan. An aftershock of magnitude 7.3 happened on April 16th, 2016 at 1:25 am. More than 40 people were killed and more than 100,000 were displaced. The quake resulted in landslides which destroyed numerous buildings, homes, businesses, and hospitals.

TOUCH International sent teams for initial crisis relief to meet survivors’ immediate needs for food, fuel, clean water, hygiene products, and shelter.

Supporting and working together with local non- profit organisation- Kyushu Christ Disaster Relief Center (KCDRC) to rebuild lives to the community.
