China: Sze Chuan Earthquake

Sze Chuan, Earthquake Rebuild / Recovery - Conducted livelihood trainings for handicapped victims.​​

On May 12, 2008, a massive earthquake of magnitude 7.9 occurred in Sichuan. The quake destroyed many villages and towns and collapsed numerous schools. According to the official Chinese Government assessment, almost 90,000 people were reported as dead or missing and nearly 375,000 people were injured by falling debris and building collapses.
